WAYS OF MAKING IT A LOW KEY WEDDING.

1) Fix your traditional ,white wedding on the same day to cut cost.

Or

2) After paying the bride price, Monetize the items in the kinsmen's list on that same day of traditional wedding, give them the money, go home and do morning mass wedding.
(No DJ, no decoration of the compound or whatever,no wine toasting, no cake breaking,no MC,no payment of hall, etc.

Or

3) Wed in the chapel with a little number of people, take photographs, after which you will invite them to a little refreshment and everyone will go home.

remove breaking of cake during tradition wedding because is not part of the custom originally.

Remove bridal shower.

Remove too much number of Ashoebi ladies.

You can use open field especially in dry season to avoid spending money renting hall.

Avoid expensive hall.

Avoid buying wedding gown or hiring expensive ones.

Take care of your face yourself don't go and look for who will use #50,000.00 to apply clay on your face, neck and eye brows.

cook on type of meal. Rice mainly and avoid swallow, breadfruit, etc.

Serve on type of drink. Malt and avoid different types of beers.

Look for souvenir that is moderately okay and cheap too or it can be avoided completely.
Deeper life people don't give any and nobody has kill them for not giving out souvenir.

You can avoid wine toasting even inside the wedding hall. Is your wedding, not anybody's own so you do things according to your capacity.

Avoid unnecessary expenses, expensive shoes, suites, gown, etc they are not necessary because the masses are not interested in that, all they want to know is that you look neat and decent.

You can add others so that we can all learn on how to make this easier. Thanks
